Dr. Mellissa Ann Wright is the founder, CEO, and owner of Faith Community Care Home. The scarcity of Personal Care Services and assisted living facilities for intellectual disabled and mental health population in southeast region, led to Dr. Wright's decision to open up a new facility in her hometown of Albany, GA.

Dr. Wright has acquired over 15 years of experience working with the developmental delayed, mental health, and substance abuse issued to social issues in social services, and nursing home care settings. Additionally, she has held several job positions, including mental health counselor, rehabilitation counselor, and support coordinator for the intellectual disabled.

Her educational background is also extensive. Dr. Mellissa Wright earned her doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, located in Sarasota, Florida. Master's degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University located in Thomasville, Georgia, and a Master's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Geriatrics from Grand Canyon University, located in Phoenix, Arizona. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Albany State University located in Albany, Georgia. Currently Dr. Wright serves as the Director of Volunteer Services for Affinis Hospice.
